Our mechanical seal model 491 can replace CHESTERTON 491, which is widely used for industrial pumps.
TS491 can be run against many different stationary seal rings for maximum flexibility in many applications. The non-fretting design will not destroy the shaft sleeve or any metal parts. The 491 has a balanced O-Ring design with anti-clog features, springs out of the fluid, dynamic O-Ring moves on a clean surface.
