Thrust ball bearing is a separate bearing, the contact ball is 90° , this kind of bearing is composed of inner ring, outer ring and retainer. Thrust ball bearing are usually called thrust bearings, ball bearing, bearing, rolling bearing, can be divided in the following two kinds bearings:
1. Single-row thrust ball bearing can carry axial load from single direction.
2. Two-row thrust ball bearing can carry axial load from double direction.
Thrust ball bearing with spherical rings has aligning performance, which can eliminate installation error.
Thrust ball bearings are classified into those with flat seats or aligning seats depending on the shape of the outer ring seat or the housing washer. Thrust ball bearings can sustain axial loads but no radial loads.
