Captan Uses

mildew and black rot of vines; early and late blights of potatoes and tomatoes; Alternaria blight and leaf spot of carrots; anthracnose and downy mildew of cucurbits; leaf spot diseases of ornamentals; anthracnose and leaf spot diseases of tomatoes;
brown patch on turf; Botrytis spp. on many crops; etc. Used on a large number of other crops. Applied at 2-4.5 lb/a. Used as a seed treatment or root dip for control of Pythium, Phoma, Rhizoctonia spp., etc. on maize, ornamentals, vegetables, oilseed rape,and other cropsducts

Captan

Captan is an organic compound with chemical formula of C9H8Cl3NO2S. It is a white crystalline powder, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in tetrachloromethane, chloroform, xylene, cyclohexanone and dichloroethane. It is mainly used as a protective fungicide and has good control effect on many diseases of crops such as barley, wheat, oats, rice, corn, cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, melons, tobacco, etc.
 


Points for attention:
1. Pay attention to wash hands, face and sticky skin after medication.

2. It cannot be mixed with alkaline agents.

3. Do not use the seeds mixed with medicine as feed or food.
